Lax Dude Dad LLC specializes in individually dyed and strung lacrosse heads. Custom work is performed by hand, and every finished product is unique.

By purchasing a custom product or submitting equipment to Lax Dude Dad LLC for customization, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

Custom Designs & Customer Selections

Customers are responsible for reviewing their selections and providing accurate customization instructions when placing an order.

This may include head model, dye colors, design choices, mesh, string colors, pocket preferences, shooting strings, and other available customization options.

Once work has begun, customization selections generally cannot be changed and the order cannot be canceled or returned.

Handmade Nature of Custom Dyeing

Custom lacrosse-head dyeing is an artistic process performed by hand. While Lax Dude Dad LLC will make reasonable efforts to produce the requested design, exact colors, fades, patterns, placement, saturation, transitions, and other details cannot be guaranteed.

Colors may appear differently depending on the original color and material of the lacrosse head, lighting conditions, computer or phone displays, dye batches, dye temperature, and other variables involved in the dyeing process.

Photos, mockups, previous Lax Dude Dad designs, and customer-provided reference images should be considered inspiration or visual references rather than guarantees of an identical finished product.

Minor variations, color differences, dye marks, transitions, or other characteristics inherent to hand-dyed equipment are not considered defects.

Custom Stringing

Lacrosse pockets are also individually strung by hand. Lax Dude Dad LLC will make reasonable efforts to create the pocket configuration selected or requested by the customer.

Pocket depth, channel, release, hold, and overall feel can change as mesh and strings break in through use.

Customers are responsible for ensuring their equipment and pocket comply with the rules applicable to their league, organization, school, tournament, or level of play.

Customer-Supplied Equipment

Customers may be permitted to send their own lacrosse heads or other equipment to Lax Dude Dad LLC for dyeing, stringing, or other customization.

Customer-supplied equipment should be clean and in good condition before being shipped.

Used equipment may contain pre-existing weaknesses, stress fractures, warping, discoloration, brittleness, material fatigue, or other damage that may not be visible before customization begins.

The dyeing process may involve heat and other conditions that can expose or worsen pre-existing weaknesses in used equipment.

By submitting used or customer-owned equipment for customization, the customer acknowledges these risks.

Lax Dude Dad LLC is not responsible for damage or failure resulting from the age, condition, previous use, previous modification, or pre-existing weakness of customer-supplied equipment.

If Lax Dude Dad LLC determines that customer-supplied equipment appears unsuitable for customization, we reserve the right to decline the work and contact the customer regarding available options.

Shipping Customer-Supplied Equipment

Customers are responsible for safely packaging and shipping their equipment to Lax Dude Dad LLC unless otherwise arranged.

Lax Dude Dad LLC is not responsible for customer equipment that is lost or damaged before it is received by Lax Dude Dad LLC.

Customers should consider using a trackable and appropriately insured shipping method when sending equipment.

Manufacturer Warranties

Customization may affect a manufacturer's warranty.

Dyeing, heating, modifying, stringing, or otherwise altering lacrosse equipment may cause a manufacturer or retailer to deny warranty coverage.

By ordering customization services, the customer acknowledges this possibility and accepts responsibility for any effect customization may have on the original manufacturer's warranty.

Lax Dude Dad LLC does not provide or extend the manufacturer's warranty on equipment manufactured by another company.

Use of Lacrosse Equipment

Lacrosse is a contact sport, and lacrosse equipment is subjected to significant impact and stress during normal use.

Scratches, scuffs, dye wear, string wear, mesh wear, warping, cracks, breakage, and other damage can occur during normal practice and competition.

Lax Dude Dad LLC does not guarantee that customized equipment will remain cosmetically unchanged or free from damage during use.

Turnaround Times

Any turnaround or completion time provided for custom work is an estimate.

Unexpected complications with dyeing, equipment condition, material availability, order volume, shipping, or other circumstances may affect completion times.

We will make reasonable efforts to complete custom orders within the estimated timeframe and communicate significant delays when appropriate.

Creative Discretion

When a customer provides general design instructions rather than exact specifications, the customer authorizes Lax Dude Dad LLC to exercise reasonable creative discretion in completing the design.

That's part of what makes a Lax Dude Dad head a Lax Dude Dad head.

Final Sale

Because custom products are created specifically for an individual customer's selections, custom products and customization services are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund due to preference, change of mind, or minor variations in the finished product.

If Lax Dude Dad LLC makes a material error in completing an order or the product arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can review the issue and work toward an appropriate resolution.

By placing a custom order or submitting equipment to Lax Dude Dad LLC, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Custom Order Terms.
